Requirements:

    Education: Doctorate in psychology

    Experience: Experience with mental health delivery systems Significant professional experience in the mental field that indicates knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of psychological disorders and psychological evaluation techniques, including psychological assessment instruments

    Licenses/Certifications: Licensed to practice psychology in the State by the appropriate state licensing agency

Responsibilities: Responsible to provide clinical and consultation services in accordance with policies and procedures of Correct Care Solutions (CCS) and the standards of the American Psychological Association (APA), NCCHC, and ACA Responsible to provide clinical services such as diagnosis and treatment of mental illness, psychological testing/assessment, psychological evaluations, crisis management services and other clinical services typically considered within the scope of practice of doctoral level psychologists Provide direct clinical services duties as outlined in the position description of Psychologist as needed to meet institutional mental health service requirements.

These duties may include diagnosis and treatment of mental illness, psychological assessment/testing, psychological evaluations, training to staff in areas relevant to Psychologist’s clinical duties, and crisis intervention Ensure that services provided are in accordance with relevant ethical and professional standards of care Participation in case staffing or care management meetings involving active clinical cases assigned to Psychologist Participation in any quality improvement activities that involve psychology services Ensure clinical documentation is completed professionally and in a timely manner. Maintain data regarding services rendered relevant to departmental statistical needs

Square One has an immediate opening for a full or part-time psychologist who has an interest working as part of a multi-disciplinary team working with youth and their families. Square One is a well-established private practice that offers medical, psychological, educational, and speech-language services to families, children, adolescents, and college age young adults. In addition to in depth evaluations, our team of clinicians provides ongoing medical, speech, and psychological therapeutic interventions. We often work closely with community professionals (e.g., pediatrician, school personnel) to address a wide range of developmental, learning, behavioral, and emotional differences in youth. Whitten Psychological Services in Shelbyville Kentucky is seeking a licensed psychologist or licensed psychological associate to provide testing and assessment services to a diverse population. The majority of our testing cases involve intellectual disabilities, attention deficits, Autism Spectrum disabilities, memory problems, and learning disabilities. We also work with the court systems and employers to provide forensic, substance abuse, and personality assessments. Due to a significant increase in referrals from pediatricians, weight loss centers, pain management clinics, schools, and residential treatment centers we have part-time and full-time employment available.

The preferred candidate will have an independent license and experience with Autism Spectrum disorders. I will consider a psychologist or psychological associate with a temporary license. Edelson and Associates, located in Louisville, Kentucky, and one of Kentucky’s largest multi-specialty psychology private practices, is seeking a two full-time doctoral level licensed or licensed-eligible psychologists. One position is to provide clinical assessment and neuropsychological evaluations for a pediatric population, the other for adult and geriatric populations.

Neuropsychological background and experience is preferred, but not necessary. Post-doctoral and new graduates are invited to apply, with on-site supervision available toward gaining licensure in the State of Kentucky. While the practice is largely insurance-dependent, collection rates have consistently been over 90 percent, and insurance panel credentialing is provided. Moreover, salary is based on services billed, not percentage collected, and rewards expertise and effort. 401K, profit-sharing, and payment of malpractice insurance are also provided, as well as all testing materials and furnished office. In addition, the group has a support staff of six people who provide scheduling, authorization, billing, transcription, liaison with managed care, and practice management. Work hours are flexible and peer consultation is available.
