We learn a lot in our graduate programs that prepare us clinically, but no one really teaches us how to run a business. Good news! There's a parallel process - the things that make for good therapy also make for good business. This workshop will help identify key principles to follow in order to have a thriving practice. Skill level: Intermediate

Workshop Objectives

Based on the content of this workshop, attendees will be able to...

  • Summarize common struggles regarding the business aspect of private practice.
  • Explain the A.R.E. (Accessible, Responsive, Engaged) model of operating a business as a solution to common struggles.
  • Assess potential challenges in business through the lens of attachment science and apply the A.R.E. model to navigate common struggles.
