KPA has heard from several members about difficulty renewing their psychology licenses through the Kentucky Board of Examiners of Psychology E-services portal. Please pay close attention to the dates in the notices you receive through e-services.

A reminder that when you are renewing your license there are two dates to be aware of. The first is your actual renewal date. The expiration date online in e-services includes a 3-month grace period.  This date represents the date your license will be terminated. Your license expiration date is 3 months prior to this. All CE being submitted for renewal must have occurred prior to the renewal date.  During the 3 months grace period no additional CE can be attended and submitted for the previous licensure period unless you submit a licensure reinstatement form and associated fee.  I think it was mentioned during the KPA convention that KBEP sometimes waives the deadline and allows people to obtained CE during the grace period.  If you do not have all your required CEs by your expiration date, you need to utilize the licensure reinstatement process through KBEP does have a licensure reinstatement process.
